Outer Core
Outer Core: This is
actually made up of liquid rock. It is
about 8000°F to 11000°F depending on depth.
The Outer Core is about 1400 miles thick. It may seem close to the mantle in size but
it isn’t because it is not as wide across the Earth as the Mantle is. The Outer Core makes up about 30% of the
Earth’s mass.
